Additional product information:

Obsession Tour was one of the most unique releases over the last few seasons; the asymmetric core with a low RG and low Differential offers bowlers a shape they have not seen before. The Obsession Tour is always in our pro's bags, and the ball still wins tournaments. The Envy Tour was developed to add a stronger and more responsive cover to the Obsession Tour core, creating that same unique shape, just more of it. Bowlers will love the solid black color and the dark purple logos that don't show as the ball travels down the lane, and the extra mid-lane and recovery will make this a popular ball for everyone.

A Must Have Big Ball to have in your Bag

Posted by Bryan Williams, PBA Member and DV8 Pro Staff on Jun 25th 2023

The Hammer Envy Tour is the big ball in my arsenal that allows me to play on oily lane conditions. I have never thrown the Envy line, but really glad I put this ball in my new arsenal. The Hammer Envy Tour is incredibly smooth, yet very strong on oily lane conditions. The Envy Tour picks up much sooner than the Obsession Tour down lane. This ball allows bowlers to adjust the surface to adjust to multiple lane conditions. The drill pattern in this ball was very simple, as I kept the pin and CG close to my span to ensure I get a very clean and consistent roll through the heads and off the spot. This ball is a must have if you were ever a fan of the Obsession line of Hammer bowling balls.

    Strong and Controllable

Posted by C miller on Mar 25th 2023

The Envy Tour is quickly becoming another favorite, that Hammer has released. Just like the Obsession Tour, the Envy Tour is a step up, in a very good way. The Envy Tour is a bit earlier and stronger off the spot. But, still controllable with plenty of energy and continuation.

    Hammer Envy Tour

Posted by Bob Newman on Mar 16th 2023

The Hammer Envy Tour is so smooth and strong it has quickly become a staple in the bag. I was/am a big fan of the Obsession Tour and this is a very similar ball shape with just more of it. The Envy Tour picks up sooner but continues its drive down lane. I've adjusted the surface for a couple of patterns and it goes back and forth well. It will have some shine on it tonight for league & get nice and scuffed for Earl Anthony pattern this weekend. This is a must have piece.

    Hammer Envy Tour Solid Review!

Posted by James G. on Mar 3rd 2023

Hammer Envy Tour Solid Review Stats: LH: Speed – 17.0; RPM – 350; AT – 19; AR – 55 Layout: 45 x 5” x 40 Hammer’s newest Top Shelf launch, the Envy Tour Solid, is a newly engineered version of the popular Obsession Tour Solid featuring several improvements that should surely get lots of attention. The Envy Tour Solid was developed to add a stronger and more responsive cover to the Obsession Tour core, creating that same unique shape, just more of it. I chose the layout I did to get the ball to roll forward a little sooner due to my slightly higher tilt, but transition a bit slower to really utilize that longer, stronger roll phase of ball motion. I have used it on a couple of different patterns and here is my assessment: 42 ft. THS (typical house shot): The Envy Tour Solid has been a very strong ball for the house shot in two centers I frequent. What I love about this ball is that it chews through the oil, makes a defined move off the spot, but is still predictable enough to control from shot to shot. Very versatile to cover changes, I took mine from box finish, down to 1000 and back up to 3000 polished, and it responds to all of those very well. If you are seeing too much early hook, take the cover up to 4000, too much length, just sand it to 1000 or even 500, it takes to those changes extremely well! Do not be afraid to adjust the surface to your game, this ball can handle it! 36 ft. Viper pattern: I roll on this pattern every Tuesday, and the Envy Tour Solid was the best ball in my bag on the fresh, alongside the Purple Pearl Urethane. Projection and speed control are key, and the Envy Tour Solid at 3000 was the perfect matchup. It rolled forward perfectly and hit heavy through the pins, carrying the off pocket hits extremely well. As the night progressed, I was able to move slightly further inside, roll the ball firm off my hand, and it saw the friction consistently, making my moves easier and more trustworthy, resulting in higher scores and more confidence in the ball. If you are looking for that “benchmark” ball reaction from a high end asymmetric, chews through the oil like the bigger solids but with a strong, continuous finish, look no further than the Hammer Envy Tour Solid. Available now from Bowler Builders Pro Shops, and at pro shops everywhere! Nothing hits like a Hammer!

    Smooth motion with more

Posted by Eric A. on Feb 24th 2023

I really like my Obsession Tour. The Envy Tour gives me the same motion, but more of it. The little extra turns a would be flat 10 into a strike. But there is not over jump off the spot. A very controllable reaction exactly what you would expect from a “Tour” version. I have had a good look on both house shots and PBA patterns. Being a tweener, I was very impressed on how well the Envy Tour worked when I had to play way left. I was not expecting it to go through the pins as well as it did. It gives me a different motion that anything other ball I have.
